Maissen/Parmigiani wins Klosters Snow Polo 2012

Congratulations to team Maissen/Parmigianni on winning the Alpine Trophy at the Klosters Snow Polo tournament on January 22nd !

In a thrilling final that was very even to the last second Parmigiani scored the "golden goal" in the 5th chukker and won the title with 10:9. The atmosphere was electric with a huge number of spectators joining to watch the games and shouting out the names of their preferred team.

Well done to all teams taking part at this tournament - this year we experienced everything from record levels of snow falling to Duran Duran and Annie Lennox singing unplugged in the VIP tent!

Many thanks to all the players, sponsors, event workers, the grooms and the local community of Klosters for all their support.

Klosters Snow Polo Press Launches

Zurich and London press launches December 2012

Klosters Snow Polo tournament enjoyed not one but two very successful press launches this month, both set inside the ultra stylish setting of Hackett in both cities.

The London launch party enjoyed the company of Ms Tara Palmer Tomkinson, Klosters resident and long term snow polo tournament fan who made the team draws alongside Daniel Waechter. Also attending were polo players such as Guille O Flaherty, Sebastian Dawney and Jamie Morrison.

Whilst Zurich enjoyed the company of the cities most famous fashion stylist Clifford Lilly alongside Klosters players Stefan Locher and Cedric Schweri.

The polo ponies looked rather bemused by it all but were on their best behaviour both evenings!
